The Hamaca field is located at the Orinoco belt, operated by Petrolera Ameriven, which is a joint-venture between PDVSA, Chevron Texaco and the oil company Conoco Phillips. The viscosity of the oil is around 8 to 12 °API. Until now we have delivered around 30 multiphase pump units to Ameriven (MW 9 and MW 10). The Hamaca field is a good example of multiphase pump field development.
